Community midwives

Our midwife deals with all matters relating to pregnancy, delivery and post-natal care. She visits the surgery once a week. Most confinements are arranged on a ‘shared care’ basis involving a choice, which may include your GP, the Midwife and the Hospital Obstetrician. Appointments can be made by the receptionists.
